 Saturday, April 9, 2022 - Day 10 Rostrevor

The morning was clear and sunny with moderate winds and the weather at the Giants Causeway was predicted to be cloudy and very windy so we elected to explore our own park some more. First, we went through the whole Narnia trail and found more items that we missed last week: Through the wardrobe door into Narnia

A park employee took our picture.

The lamp post. I like this picture with the lamp post, then Don framed by the door, and then the person who took our picture.

This is actually the picture from last week, Mr. Tumnis has since met with an accident and was lying on the ground.

Mr. Beaver's house.

Then we came to the woods of the Whispering Tree Nymphs

Aslan's table

Maugrim the wolf

Aslan

One of the people turned to stone by the White Witch?

Close up of a "window", here you can see a table with a lamp and a mirror.

Another "window" : curtains and flowered wallpaper.

The thrones for the four children who reigned for 15 years as kings and queens.

A queen in my own mind.

It was still bright and sunny out so we took yet a different path in Kilbroney Park:

I'm wearing a puffy coat, hat, and gloves because it's still cold out.

We came across at least three other paths, all leading uphill, which we will hike another day. Where we finally ended up was at the last part of the Fairy Glen that we hadn't walked yet, so here are more pictures of the beautiful Kilbroney River and the glen.

Just an hour later the clouds are rolling in.
